Shaw used to be a drug area, the growing problem is just a rehash of the old problem.there is a growing drug problem in the Shaw area. it may have been a turf war beween dealers.
these young college graduates move into these area in part because of the liberal crap their brains get stuffed with by liberal professors. it's not all unicorns and rainbows as some are finding out.
sad and tragic nonetheless.
Yes back in the day the hipsters did not go to Shaw.but now it's the little urban hipsters getting killed.
oh well.
so is this drug dealers fighting each other?
but now it's the little urban hipsters getting killed.
oh well.
Partly due to hipsters having a growing sense of entitlement towards recreational drug use. Legality aside, dealers are there to fill a role and to satisfy demand at premium prices. Dealers will kill each other or whoever gets in the way considering that hipsters will probably pay 5-10x what a street addict will.
In an effort to curb the violence, which has put Shaw residents on edge, the police department’s 3rd District set up a special, around-the -clock post last week at the Tuesday shooting scene.
