Just got an email a little bit ago that some of the libraries in AA County are giving away up to two gun locks.
Have to be 18+ years old. No library card or proof of residence needed. They're at the Busch Annapolis, Eastport-Annapolis Neck, and Glen Burnie libraries.

It doesn't say in the email. Just shows a pic of one, so I'm not sure if it would be the kind they're giving away or not.

Does anyone believe that the bad actors committing these crimes would give a crap a using a gun lock?

Some places charge you for a gun lock after purchase even though you have your own. Others waive the fee if you've purchased from them before. It's a business after all.

Guess you can try and get away with it and say you're putting it in your holster and don't need one.

Could care less about a gun lock. But people will run to "free", just because.

Cool, hopefully the gun stores around the area give out "book burning matches" too. If libraries want to render guns inoperable because they're dangerous, it seems only natural gun stores should be in the business of rendering harmful books inoperable too. It makes about as much sense.

Someone please pick me up one. I am worried my dog may get to my gun and accidentally shoot me, or purposely if I don't give him his nummies.
