I was having problems with the PMAG trying to double feed and internal mag "jams" Switched to a Lancer and had no more problems.

Put a few boxes of ammo through her at the range today. Eotech was almost on point straight out of the box.

So far it likes Lake city ammo only. Tried to feed some PMC ammo and it did not like it too much. Failed to cycle several times. Felt like I was using a bolt action til I put some more XM193 back in the mag.

The battlecomp really makes a difference on my follow up shots. I'll post a few pics of the targets to show the grouping while shooting fast follow ups.

All in all. I'm in love. I would like for it shoot more of a variety of ammo. We'll work that out later I guess.

Great build. Was it a pain lining up the hadguard?

Nope. Easy as 1-2-3 Pretty brainless actually as long as the gas port in the upper reciever is not blocked by one of the cogs of the barrel nut it lines up. Does that make sense?

Here's some pics of my first groups. All at the end of the range at Freestate. Had some issues with the reticle blurring because of my shooting glasses but worked that out.

Wiped most of it out after the range trip. WIll lube it up before heading back out.

    Great pics thanks!

Nice and squeaky new. As long as your not having issues, just a few drops of CLP, is probably all you need in there. A few more drops on the bolt carrier, GTG!

So nice, clean, new, it practically sparkles!

You might be a gun nut if.... You suggest a gun might sparkle... LOL. :)

It defintely sparkled after I cleaned it. Wife was jealous that I was so tentative to the rifle. I'll pay for that this week for sure. Ha ha ha
