    OK ... different for me, anyway.

    This Tula Mosin doesn't have a scope number on the receiver, but it has one (1) plug ... right in the center of where I'm used to seeing them.

    It's also got the Tula "S P" sniper mark over the star, and concentric double "0" accuracy proofs.

    This thing has got more numbers than a N.J. racketeer. Anyone got an idea what would have only been mounted with a single screw on a Tula sniper like this one?

    Looks like the fwd pin went into the metal because the stock appears to be notch cut (on the linked auction example) to accommodate the mount. Not sure if it went all the way through the metal though.

    I have one of those. Check for another plugged hole further towards the muzzle. Maybe where the bolt head locks into place.
