I'm sorry if this has been discussed but couldn't find an answer. I'm thinking about buying AK Reciever Flat from ak-builders and I'm looking at a Polish Parts kit with fixed stock. Is it ok to use a ak-builder Polish Underfolder Flat or do I need another one. Thanks in advance and sorry if this is a noob question.

No. The underfolder flat is cut for an underfolder trunnion. You would need a standard AK flat. Also make sure the parts kit is for a stamped receiver gun, not a milled receiver gun.

Ok thats what I thought I need was a regular AK flat. Just wanted to make sure. If you don't mind me asking whats the difference between the stamped receiver gun and a milled receiver gun? So I know what to look for.

A stamped receiver is built from sheet metal, i.e. a flat. A milled receiver is machined from a large block of metal. These are fairly basic AK concepts. Don't take this the wrong way, but I'd recommend you do a good deal of reading before ordering anything as the AK isn't an easy build.

I've read quite a bit on different forums about the builds and was going to get all the parts and then look for a build party. But I didn't read anything about milled receivers only about flats, 80% and 100% receivers. Sorry I just didn't know that the parts kit made much difference if the receiver was stamped or milled but will definitely keep that in mind. I'm definitely going to do more research and I appreciate your help.
