Found one in excellent condition for $599, not knowing anything about AKs is this good(besides climate) wood furniture and side folding stock

WASR is 10x better than a AMD65

why?

1. stuck with folding stock, non standard rear trunnion. only option is if you want to pay 100 for the krebs adapter
2. short 11.5 inch barrel with a extension tack welded to it
3. does not come with standard hand guard/gas tube

I have a WASR, and more ARs than I can shoot in a weekend, always liked the forward grip o the AMD

I'd get it It's not as high priced as other rifles Now and if you don't like it you'll get your money back and maybe more

AMD's are nice.. Congrats!

And once you shoot a few thousand rounds through one, they become an extension of you. Just like any other weapon - you get good with what you have.

I have 2 AMD's I got them from Budgunshop for $425over the summer. I think they are nice light AKM!! my is a fun shooter!
