Just wanted to thank Greg for his help on my new pistol purchase. Always been an AR guy but really wanted an AK. Can't wait to get some rounds down range next week.

Picked one up as well. Took it home, field strip, and cleaning. For the most part looks like a solid pistol. Cant wait to take it out tomorrow and see how she runs.

The staff at Duffys are 1st class. They are very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly.

What blacktalon said. Midwest industries and and i think manticore make handguards that can accept a reddot. You can also anchor a rail on the cover.

Thanks guys. I think I like the top rail idea better. I like the wood handguards Just need to stain them a dark red

There's a 6 degree shim between the folding adapter and the receiver that is mounted to the receiver with locking compound and two screws. There are two more screws that mount the folding adaptor to the receiver through the shim. It's pretty damn durable.
