I’d never tried to drive a nail or split a card, I have to say it was pretty fun for a change.
Very nice but isn't an Air Force rifle in .22 somewhat unusual? Most of the time I meet people with those they have .30 on up.
If they ever make a repeater, I'll be a customer.
A .30 TJ barrel would be great.
They don’t make a .30. I run it in .257
But more models come in .177 .20 .22 and .25
Then the Texan which is .257 .308 .357 .457 .50
The design really allows most power, least parts, made in America, lifetime warranty, but yes it’s single shot.
The repeater they make is the RAW HM 1000. I’ve known only two owners but all I’ve heard was good if not great.
I have a 24” .25 barrel on the way and was thinking all I need is a .177 and it’s completed. I’m passing on the .20 and going right to .177 slugs with it. You can get 35-40 FPE or close out of the 13 grain slugs and shoot 100-200 yards with less drop then a .257
The Texan was the .30 I was talking about.
How fast are you shooting those 13gn slugs? The only .177's I ever had were Beeman break barrel and Benjamin Multi Pump. When .22 came out, I switched and never looked back. Now the Avenger .25 has me amazed at the accuracy from a $300 PCP. While I may get other .25's (I really want a Crickett II), I will never give up my .22's as ammo is pretty much universally available.
If they ever make a repeater, I'll be a customer.
I do have a $200 Beeman Chief II Plus (The one that fills to 3000psi) that I'm pushing the 12.5g Nielsen slugs to 980fps for 18-20 shots. It's a single hole off the bench at 25yds (my farthest distance in yard). It did take a little bit of modding, but just labor, no parts cost involved.
Our neighbor to the North shooter1721 in PA did a review on the HM 1000x just two days.
If I’m spending big money on an air rifle it would be this one

That’s pretty impressive. I thought you we’re getting out? :-)
