I am very much looking forward to this.
2021 doesn't look quite so bleak any more...it just might be worth surviving the first battles of the civil war after all
Lol let’s hope we make it

Glad you’ve been shooting with us. Check out this page, and the link to the schedule. They’re already scheduled for this year.

Awesome! Thank you. So looks like the practices start up again in May. And it’s $5. Non-members can come I presume?
Yes, super excited for this! Can't wait to put my bolt gun skills to the test.
I don't have any WWII rifles, lol. If we ever did a 60s Cold War match without ARs, I'd probably be into that, though.

I think we'd really struggle to define - and enforce - period correct clones. Even though, IMHO, that is what would make this match completely awesome. I'll think about it some more (perhaps as I finally get around to draft 2 of the Falling Steel rules addendum). If you are interest though let us know. We are thinking through options to get people out there.
Cold War era would be a blast, if we included ARs they would be irons or using period correct optics.
I'm excited for this, but it means I have to start looking for some WW2 British web gear.
I would totally be in. I shot my first three gun match with a m1 carbine, winchester 97 and my 1911. It was fun. Really fun.
Do these matches require any shooting from the prone position?
I just joined Garrison R&R club and purchased my range badge. This sounds like fun. I have rifles but no period handguns. May just go with my old S&W model 10 since I have ammo for it.
Yes this match will be from all positions, require is a strong word, if the stage “requires” a position and for some reason it’s not doable we have time penalties you can take.
Good. As a result of some neck vertebrae surgery there's no way I can do prone. If I shot from seated there would be a penalty from the loss of accuracy compared to prone.
