I really want a lower from them.

I do as well. According to them though their lower is mil spec and no dif then others. I really want it because it says "Baltimore, MD" as lame as that sounds.

It's the only reason I want one....for the most part any high quality lower is the same.

Do you ask your local shop to contact them, or just go down to Adcor?

I just happened to be there. Didn't call and didn't know anyone there. I was really surprised at how cool they were. They would have talked to me forever, I had to actually excuse myself to go back to work. To be able to hold the rifle and play with the parts and ask questions of the actual inventor and head engineer was the coolest part. They even gave me some advice on another rifle that is not one of theirs and some ammo choices.

Accurate had lowers and also the complete rifles in stock. I'm not sure if they had uppers. I bought a lower from them and build my AR with it. The lower was perfect and didn't have any blemishes. I also handled one of the complete rifles and it was really nice.
