    It's a start, but as the article suggested, the ACLU may only be concerned about the implications Reid's bill has regarding the 4th and 5th Amendments.

    Now, if the ACLU actually comes to the defense of the 2nd Amendment fully, that's a completely different animal....

    Some support is certainly better than no support, which has been their position until recently.

    Still, would be nice to see the ACLU support all Civil Liberties, and not just the ones they like.

    Stole my thunder. The day the ACLU starts defending the entire Bill of Rights (including the 2A), and quits cherry picking, is the day that I become a card carrying member. As it is, the ACLU REMAINS PART OF THE PROBLEM and they can kiss my a$$...

    They don't call it the American Criminal Liberties Union for nothing. Anything from them I'll believe when I see it.
