White Oak as someone said truely makes great uppers but the wait time is extensive. For the price and what you get they can't be beat you just will likely not have it forba few months.

Free gun parts. Oh yeah. I just wish that upper did not have a lifetime warranty. If it had no warranty I know it would have got a flying lesson.

The price for the work is amazing but its prob a 6-9 month wait.......but I would say worth it.

I don't know if it's been said but in my experience rifle length AR's don't like lower powered (read that as steel cased Russian) ammo.
My carbine eats that stuff up but my A2 rifle chokes on it for every round....
