I foresee a lot of guns being sold on the second-hand market once these first-timers get comfortable and complacent again.

    The funny thing,,,,
The liberals did NOT buy guns when Trump was elected in 2016,,, but they are flooding to buy guns when the Democrat mods are running the cities in summer 2020 AND when Biden was "Elected".
Typ liberals, they vote with their "feelings" but deep down their survival instinct knows the truth.

I foresee a lot of guns being sold on the second-hand market once these first-timers get comfortable and complacent again.

    Meh, only for 4th highest....

That's not record setting like when Obama was is office.

There was supply when zero was in office. Not so much today.

I don't recognize the brands listed in many gun ads recently. Not sure they are fly by night or just obscure small manufacturers.

Yup. You can buy any shotgun you like, as long as it was made in Turkey!

A lot of bigger names get used on Turkish shotguns as well. Some are pretty good shooters, I had a Turkish Weatherby that I sold during this panic that functioned well, I just rarely used it in favor of others.

I would love to know the amount of 80% purchases as well especially with all of the websites going on sale (provided they’re in stock).

Just me and a few associates may or may not be responsible for over two dozen such builds in the last three months. So I hear.

    Behind enemy lines...
I was lucky. A few months ago I was browsing a LGS and found a pristine LNIB
30 year old 32" Browning Citori 12 ga. O/U made by FN in Belgium. This was obviously a safe queen. Fired perhaps 1/2 dozen times tops. I kid you not, the gun was actually talking to me. :lol2:

The gun was part of an estate sale and sat on the store's shelf for 10 months.
Most people nowadays want a HD gun....not a trap/skeet gun. Lucky me.

Pic is not "my" gun but it is my model.

Just kidding, I am "walnut and steel" over "Tacticool" anyday

Black Friday Gun Sales Fourth-Highest One-Day Total In NICS History
    https://bearingarms.com/cam-e/2020/11/30/black-friday-gun-sales-fourth-highest/

I wonder what % is AR style rifles and % handguns?

I moonlight at a MDS IP. On Black Friday we sold both of our AR's, and a few pistols. The hot item was HD shotguns- they were flying off the shelves.
Every single NICS check was delayed. Most went through in a few hours, but we had ZERO proceeds on Black Friday. To me, that screams that NICS was overloaded.
