What's really stupid is it allows recoil operated centerfire handguns, but not blowback operated.

Just wait until they realize that it's hot combustion gasses that push ALL projectiles out the barrel on every firearm. Every boolit is gas-operated! Even muskets are gas operated! When they start pretending they're making some sort of mechanism-inspired distinction, somehow implying that a different mechanism that still allows them boolits to fly is less killy, you know they're in snake oil mode and just working the ol' incrementalism angle.
