would it be necessary to have the serial/model designation engraved and a photo attached before submitting the eform1?
What did you put in for the manufacturer in box 4a? The correct way to tip them off that it came from an 80% is to put "Form 1 registration, United States" in 4a. That's what I've done for the SBR's and suppressors I've made from scratch.
I already have a number of AR's that aren't in the MD system, thanks to having purchased lotsa lowers before the .mil sent me here.
Just wondering if I need to have a photo of the model/serial designation uploaded to the e-form before paying/submitting. everything else is done.
yup, eforms are quick as **** right now.
Guess so, I just received an approved Form 1 Suppressor.
Filled out on 7/3
SUBMITTED/IN PROCESS 7/7
Approved 8/11
I have seen people disapproved for not putting a make/model/serial on their form 1 when they used an home made receiver.
If your going to do it, do it right bro.
Make: Merica
Model: Fuk-Yeah 15
Serial: 0069
I'm def getting myself a Harbor Freight mill when they go on sale. My in-laws live near the HF store in Western MD. Gonna hit them up Black Friday when we visit for Thxgiving.
If you have the desire to do more than just 80%'s, get a G0709 from Grizzly (just up in PA). It's about twice the price as a mini-mill, but its at least 10x the machine. Well well worth the extra money in frustration alone.
