Creepy-Ass Cracker
Just got mine today through my school. (how awesome - a school that has an FFL and buys guns for you!)
Dirty as sh*t. Apparently (according to the resident old-gun fanatic kid from Canada) these were bought by some guerilla forces in Brazil in the 30s/40s but they lost - and the military and police got them. Only 15k of these rifles were issued, and they're in 7mm which is apparently rare.
However the reason I got this rifle was to take the action and bolt - toss everything else and build it into a .308 or .30-06 target/hunting rifle.
However if it's more collectible, I might just keep it.
