    BTW, just what is the point of the article about 700+million mags with capacity greater than 10 rounds anyway?
    Just point your favorite search engine toward "In common use for lawful purposes." And you will find many explanations.

    Or point it toward Caetano v. Massachusetts the Supreme Court case that held the possession of 200,000 stun guns by ordinary citizens throughout the country meant they were arms "in common use for lawful purposes" and thus could not be banned even though such arms did not exist at the time of the ratification of the Bill of Rights.
