Federal American Eagle (165 or 180, forget which) is currently $300.00 cash out the door price at Shooters Discount in Mt. Airy.

Lou, is that for 1000 rounds? That's a great price.
Unfortunately the $30 in gas it would cost me to get out there kills it for me.
Unless I make it worthwhile by buying a gun while I'm there. Hmmm... :D

I'm still having a blast with that trade-in, sissy .40 S&W G22 you sold me at the beginning of the year.

I've learned that our IP's are actually REALLY good about ammo if you call/ pm in advance and especially if you can deal in cash.

Generally I don't stock much ammo. When I can get the deals on some decent ammo (able to compete or beat Wallyworld prices), I get as much as I can.

Question on the MC vs. TMJ.

I know that TMJ, which is what the lead free ranges require, covers the entire bullet, including the base in a metal jacket.

I know that FMJ, covers the bullet except the base with a metal jacket.

Is the MC like the FMJ or the TMJ? I think its like the FMJ, but am not sure.

    Thanks.
