ASC is old C-Products stock and/or mags made on old CP tooling. The 40 rounder is garbage as are the 1911 mags.

The 6.8/5.45/223 mags are hit and miss. I have a slew and never had a problem. Others were not so lucky. YMMV

c products worked fine in my AR, not at all in my PLR and their 1911 mags...might as well have had my cat loading the damn gun.

Whats the deal with C Products? Should we avoid these mags?

they used to produce magazines for the .gov. I have used hundreds, no worse in performance than the colt with anti tilt followers.

I use C-Product mags for my AR and they work 100%.
I used 4 C-Product mags in my 1911 and they utterly failed at everything.
I tried C-Product mags in my PLR-16 (uses AR mags) and it turned my awesome space gun into a straight pull bolt action.

Those are my experiences.

Thanks for the info. I ordered on Jan 11 and decided to cancel today since my order from Brownells just shipped (ordered mid February). In case anyone was curious, cancellation was a breeze - I got a live person on the phone with the second ring.
