Question: The Tavor 300 BLK has a 16.5" barrel, so its meets Federal OAL of 26+" but in this place its short.

? Can you Pin/Weld a Suppressor to meet the 29" OAL.

? Would you still need to do a Stamp on the Suppressor?

? And it would NOT be considered an SBR because of the Barrel...

Don't think any suppressor mount will get you there.

    Yes

No it would not be an SBR unless the barrel is shorter than 16".

Answers are above..... Hope it helps its a bit more complicated but this should help.

Best to run this past a lawyer, but my understanding is that if the silencer's permanently affixed to the barrel, it counts as part of the OAL spec.

BATFE says MUZZLE device, permanently installed.

It does not specify what type of muzzle device.

If you read the threads, there are several people who pinned/welded a suppressor to a short barrel to meet the 16" rule.

MD uses the BATF means of measuring, so a pinned/welding suppressor should be fine to meet 29".

Or wait a bit and hope the Engage law suit solves the whole SBR 29" thing. Then to an SBR Tavor with a 15.9" barrel. :)

So say a Silencerco OMEGA 30 is 7" if you pin/weld this it won't pass the sniff test? at 33"
I misread your first question, pinning a suppressor will get you OAL. (thought you meant suppressor mount) It is a concern that once pinned you won't be able to really service it. My other responses to the OP are still valid.
