HB1396 Being heard now in Judiciary: MSI opposes!

SB773 now has MSI's support, as Senator Carter completely changed it into being an incentive for individuals rather than a mandate against dealers. It's being heard in JPR soon:

SB676 is the last bill being heard today in JPR. MSI opposes!

Not taking credit... But it's really bizarre seeing this change; I asked her in my written testimony to do exactly this, by cross-filing HB816.

Curious if anything in particular prompted the change. If I remember correctly she was also the Senator who supported a (small) reduction on the possession penalty for homemade firearms.

If only they would apply the same incentive (tax credits) for firearms owners in “Jaelynn’s Law” - SB 676.
