As a PSA to anyone with a giggle switch in Maryland, the annual tax... I mean, machine gun registration is now open. Please don't become a felon by forgetting to do this annual silliness.

Good reminder. I filed it and paid my moneys. Technically it's not supposed to be until May, but, honestly, if they're good with it, I'm good with it.

Just received this email from MSP

In furtherance of our commitment to better service both the public and private sectors of Maryland, the Maryland Department of State Police Licensing Division is disseminating this email to inform machine gun owners that some registration submissions were blocked by the third party payment vendor during submission via the Licensing Portal. Registrations affected were not received by the Licensing Division. Effected machine gun owners were not provided with a Licensing Portal confirmation of receipt email or charged the $10 registration fee. Machine gun owners are requested to log into their Licensing Portal account to confirm and/or submit their machine gun registrations before the June 1, 2024 deadline for machine gun registration submission.

Checked and mine hadn't processed. Redid and now all good. Glad they sent the update.
