Looks like 2022 is going to be another busy hurricane season
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration predicted Tuesday that the summer in the Atlantic will produce 14 to 21 named storms, six to 10 becoming hurricanes and three to six turbo-charging into major hurricanes with winds greater than 110 mph. Even with normals shifting upwards to reflect more active storm seasons in recent decades, these predictions are above the 30-year average of 14 named storms, seven hurricanes and three major hurricanes.

Oh good I was afraid the "experts" wouldn't get around to predicting above average hurricane season this year. Seems like the yearly you can mark your calendar by it thing.

When was the last year it wasn't supposed to be "busy?"
Yeah, I'm a bit of an uneducated weather nerd, and I kinda have the general opinion that weather tends to kind of go in cycles, climate change is more or less the same thing - weather patterns working their way around the earth, and either way it doesn't matter who is right or wrong, Mother nature always wins !!
