I was screwing around with a belt feed gun today as well.

During the afternoon break, the little ones were workin hard to keep the MG42's fed for the next round of shooting.... (you need to hear the audio, it's priceless... lol)



and the reward when the shooting began again....

Hearing and seeing this thing fired was amazing. You can't help but giggle a little to yourself when you hear 400 rounds fired in about 5 seconds.

I borrowed a head mounted GoPro and the footage was pretty good but is 371mb. It had some people in the film who may or may not want themselves on youtube so here's a pared down mpg grab from the GoPro.

This was me using controlled bursts to finish off the bongos that were laying on the ground at this point in pieces. You can see some bits go flying and hear Duffy's range guy calling it.

He eats everything that isn't nailed down. He's grown 6 inches in the last 8 months!

Being on the prone guns, and having to get up and down all day, I still have a reminder in my back and legs, but visibly I have a crescent shape on my forehead that should match up to the rim of an empty .308 shell.
