Is this similar to what you were thinking of as a classroom portion before the June 17th situation from the other post?

I think I'm down for this. I enjoyed the last outdoor workshop but would like the potential for some more feedback on what I'm doing right and wrong. A review of fundamentals that I think I know would probably be good as well.

Yeah. I was concerned about which day the fundamentals class may end up being held.

I’m stuck working nights this week. I wonder what Diplomatic Security would say about us running around State Dept with SIRT guns :D

Hopefully, next time as I definitely want to do a basic class with you, sir!

DS hasn't had the best record lately. If they give you any garbage, just ask em if it would help if you were a foreign national and happened to be found in the executive suite instead of where you belong. Guarantee they turn bright red and get REALLY mad.

    I could keep going.

Just a quick note saying I had a good and educational time with Miguel/Gun Commander.

I need to take some time to make some more notes maybe but for me, someone with little official training, this type of class is appreciated.

It was a small class and we went over some basics on firearms operation to accommodate all those in the class.

We spent a good amount of time on drawing techniques, grip, sighting with the SIRT guns. We did some timing drills with the SIRT computer/app tracking that was cool. We also did some drills on how to recover from various failures.

You can read on the GC site what is covered.

If you are like me and have experience with firearms but not much practice with ‘gun fighting’, it’s a worthwhile intro for lack of a bette word.

Now I have a basis for things to practice at home or the range without just kind of doing whatever.

ETA: I don't mean to imply those with some official training or bone stock beginners wouldn't benefit too, just speaking from where I think I am.
