1911 Para frame at Sarco - good deal or not?

I'm looking to build a 1911, not trying to build a match grade pistol, just want a 1911 I can say I built that works.

Sarco has Para frames. are these decent frames?

Probably okay liqiudated stock. They can built into a decent pistol. I had an LTD that was nice...

Para had their share of issues...thus they are no longer.

They are VERY hard to do quality work one. They are cast and have flat indexed surfaces. My gunsmith HATED working on them.

That said, mine has shot well for several years of USPSA competition.
