Got an antique 1888 Springfield Trapdoor rifle. Just need a look over for safety checks.
I’m guessing this is basic work for any trained gunsmith: headspace, chamber, bore and barrel inspection, lock work function, firing pin, maybe muzzle erosion measurement, and a check of the stock. Anything else?
