I do hope these pillars of the community inflict a healthy dose of road-rash upon themselves. (It's a shame that I'll likely be picking up the tab for medical treatment ... Thanks Obamacare.)

Pretty sure most have already committed crimes as few if any of those bikes were acquired legally........

If police really wanted to round them up....they could....round em up just like cowboys round up cattle and horses.....animals are animals.........

IIRC actually already illegal to own them in the city.

As much fun as it is to fantasize about a little vehicular vigilante action, the sad reality is the young rider or his family will slap you with a lawsuit for the injuries or wrongful death of the idiot. If the case goes to trial in Bloodymore, say goodbye to your life savings, your house and possibly your freedom if the Princess and her minions decide to get involved in what I am sure they will brand a "Hate Crime."

    Caltrops might be fun, though.:innocent0

That's the sad state of affairs today. All stack in favor of the law breaker. I would think contributory negligence would come into play. I'd have to plead that I was just tying to get out of the way and they zigged when I thought they were going to zag.
I'll have to plead ignorance o Caltrops, please fill me in.

It's as if criminals are a protected class. Makes me ill.

If the law abiding citizen gets hurt, there is almost no recompense. Makes me ill.

If we did something like that, they'd track us down with all of their resources. Makes me ill.

Meh, I am just ill. :)

I work in Catonsville, used to live there, and graduated from Catonsville High in 2012. I must say that the town is starting to go down hill from what it used to be. Im sure the town residents are seeing it as well and will do something about it.

The only way that the problem will be brought under control is when Police Officers in this state are granted the statutory authority to use legal intervention to stop dirt bikes. That means roadblocks and it also means ramming dirt bikes with the patrol car when they refuse to pull over. The people riding these vehicles on city streets are career criminals and juvenile delinquents on their way to becoming career criminals. I have yet to meet a single upright citizen riding one of these things on the street (off road or on a track is a different story).

Folks here in Maryland have a choice. They can authorize the Police to stop dirt bike riders by force or they can allow them to do whatever they want. Stopping them by force means accepting the fact that many of them will be maimed or killed. Allowing them to do what they want means the continued erosion of law and order. We'll see what happens as the counties continue to experience the spillover from Baltimore City.

I'd love to see surrounding agencies use them for sniper practice but that may be a tough sell. I've donated 2 bikes and a 4 wheeler (stolen from me) to the dirtbags in Baltimore City and my only hope is that the fine individuals that stole them end up paralyzed after crashing them.

Maybe we could get some kind of petition going to authorize more force to stop these dangerous idiots?

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caltrop

A caltrop (also known as caltrap, galtrop, cheval trap, galthrap[citation needed], galtrap,[1] calthrop or crow's foot[2][3]) is an antipersonnel weapon made up of two or more sharp nails or spines arranged in such a manner that one of them always points upward from a stable base (for example, a tetrahedron). Caltrops were part of defenses that served to slow the advance of horses, war elephants, and human troops. They were particularly effective against the soft feet of camels.[4] In more modern times, caltrops are still effective when used against wheeled vehicles with pneumatic tires.

I almost ran some pieces of trash over yesterday in the city. Had a whole convoy of dirtbikes, 4 wheelers, and even minivans running red lights. Trying to get my wife to her job where she helps save lives everyday and these idiots were mere moments from needing her help...

I hope they get decapitated under a trailer.
Paralyzed will just cost the taxpayers too much money over the next 50 years

Anyone had to, or choose to, watch the documentary on them?
I had to for a class.
I couldn't wait for one of them to die. Took forever.
