    100 Yard Benchrest Rimfire Sporter Match
    Cresap Rifle Club will hold a 100 Yard Benchrest Rimfire match Saturday September 16th at 1:00 PM, following the CMP Maryland State Rimfire Sporter Championship.

    This competition is open to the public and will be a 50/50 match: Entry fee is $15 and the winner gets half the take.

    CMP rules for equipment will be followed: .22 LR, 7.5 pounds max rifle weight, 3-pound trigger, open or aperture sights or maximum 6 power scope. Other than that, any .22 rifle can be used. Course of fire is 5 minutes for sighting in, then 20 minutes for 20 record shots from a bench rest with no more than 2 sand bags. Targets are A-25 rimfire targets. All proceeds go to support the Cresap Junior Rifle Team.

    I might be wrong but iron sights vs 6x at 100yds the 6x should win ever time.
