You are going to wish you got the Kidd trigger also. Way better than the BX. The Kidd barrel and trigger are the only things that will make a big difference in how it shoots. All the good brand barrels will be tight as they have oversize shanks. Trick way to get them to go together easily is to stick the barrel in the freezer and hang the receiver, barrel end down, over a stove burner at low heat to heat and expand it a little.

Just finished a facelift to one of my 10/22 takedowns, being able to maintain the barrel length with a sparrow at 17" is nice.

Tapco stock, 110-round drum mag, couple other things to make it look more than just a little 10/22 :lol2:

Here are my 2 but these pics are a year or 2 old. Lower is my Steel Challenge/Rimfire Challenge Open rifle and the other is currently my backup. I am currently ranked at Master level in Rimfire Rifle Optics in Steel Challenge with it.

As soon as financially possible, I plan to pick up the basic rifle with wood furniture. I know I can get a new one locally for $230 OTD.

    A Modest Upgrade

Choate folding stock and a Tactical Innovations 16.5" threaded barrel. Note - scope is not touching the handguard - but it is close. Need to mount the scope a little more forward. May need higher rings, as a can may get in the way.

Same 10/22 as above, except I decided to loose the bushnell 4 power scope in favor of this Nikon 3-9X40 rimfire with higher mounts that just barely clear the Choate stock. New muzzle device just for looks. Can't wait to get it to the range.

    LOVE that folding stock.
