Since it looked like it was going to storm, i had to shoot from the porch instead of the shooting table/bench i set up. I think it was about 65 yards...as I have not measured the distance.

The 10/22 shot well inside the two inch red circle. I am happy with it since it is stock.
Though the trigger really stinks.

This particular 10/22 has the stainless metal trigger ... And what I like about it is that is push a large square button behind the magazine to release it. I think tha plastic trigger guard version, I had to shake the magazine loose.

Now I need pointers in getting that trigger worked on a bit.

I like this model because it has the full length stock that has nice checkering.

And run, don't walk. Hard to find now and as Mancheechee said, you can only find them used. These were a Walmart exclusive with the longer barrel.

I saw one at the Wal-Mart in Fallston and Mt Airy. I think the price was $227.00 + tax.

22 inch barrel with checkered walnut (maybe birch) stock. Great thing is that it's got a regular length stock unlike the short stock on the other 10/22 wood stocks...even has recoil pad with a nice ruger emblem on it. I wonder how in the world Wally got Ruger to make such nice 10/22 for them?
Anyway, go do as LV says...run and get em!
