“Ignore” selectively, by thread? (“Epic Funny picture” thread-specific)

Question for the forum IT guru Mods:

Just curious if technology doesn’t allow for a way to “ignore” individuals - solely within the

“Epic Funny picture thread”​

- you know, those who habitually post comments in the

“Epic Funny picture thread”​

…. without ever posting any funny pictures, themselves.


Reason I ask is, about a month ago, I started noticing how many individuals feel a need to post comments on funny pictures posted by others but, whom NEVER post or contribute any funny pictures, themselves. So, JUST AS AN EXPERIMENT, I started “ignoring” those zero-funny-pic-commenters and, while enjoyment of the

“Epic Funny picture thread”​

has gone up 1,000% (or more, probably closer to 10,000 x more enjoyable), my ignore list is a high enough number that;

… now, I can’t help but wonder if at least one or two of those zero-funny-pic-commenters might not actually contribute something meaningful, elsewhere in the forums.

Long-shot mebbe, I know so, I figure no harm in asking …

I am guilty of commenting on some post in there but I do try to post some funny (to me anyway) pictures there too, when I can find them first.
