Does anyone know how long it takes to get this? I have 2 CZ Scorpions pending pickup and I jist got my HQL. There's another CZ I want at a shop but they said they will only hold it for 30 days even if I buy it outright.

However, buying the 2 Scorpions will put me on ice for 60 days unless I can get the permit in less than 30 days.

    Any advice would be great.

Did you already apply? I’ve heard MSP won’t issue a Designated collectors license until you own at-least one handgun.

Yea if you are paying full price, why wouldn’t they hold it. They have nothing to lose.

It's not a license or a permit. It's a Designated Collector's letter from MSP. There is a difference and folks should know it

That's correct letter is only acknowledgment of the status being granted, not a license or permit. Just like in Animal Farm, "all animals are equal, but some are more equal".
