The pin shoot in Manassas uses real bowling pins. They rotate them out when they need rotating, thereby precluding anything like what booker mentioned from happening. Wood tables, too. They're switching formats next month, half pins, half plates. Wish I could participate, but I'm going to be getting married that day.

I hate the place.
2 years ago I took my son there on his 16th birthday. We brought our ak47 and a few handguns. We walked in and placed our weapons and ammo on the counter. The young man at the counter looks over at us and states "you can't shoot that ammo here". I told him that I have shot the same ammo there previously and that I actually bought the ammo from them. He gives me a nasty look and says" A - you didn't buy that ammo from us and B - you have never shot it here". I was floored at his response. I told me boys that it is time to leave. If I uttered anything else I was afraid I may end up getting arrested.

We walked out to put the stuff back in my truck. A guy follows me out and told me that he just witnessed what had happened and he too will never give them another penny of his money. :mad54:

I emailed the owner and he basically replied saying oh well.

I hope they go out of business and somebody else takes ownership. The place is only 5 minutes from my house but I refuse to give them any more of my money. I now drive to Elkton or occasionally timonium.
