By the way, I have the smooth wood grips on my K9, I think you made a good choice going with the stippled, as mine are a bit slippery.

His are checkered not stippled. This would be called stippled

Yes, I am a nit picker but exactitude makes a difference in communications.

Thanks for all the kind words.. I do like the looks much better! I do need to make sure there's no misunderstanding though.. All my dremel work is invisible on the inside of the grip!! It wouldn't sit flush, so I had to expand one of the cutout areas on both grips :)

Nice looking grips jonnyl ! I've been doing a little Dremel work on a set of grips for my 45 SSA. Bought a kit, comes rough cut. Had to fit shape and finish. So far only have one slab done. See if I have sense enough to attach photos on this +*%&@# compooter. Kind of resembles the Duke's sixgun.

Looks nice! I like the ivory look. What are they made of?

Looks familiar. How do you like your MK9? Is its birth date from after they started installing the "Elite trigger" in standard?

I agree the wood grips makes this pistol really shine, and for me it is much easier to grip as well with the additional palm swell. The stock grips are really thing, and for me not nearly as comfortable.
