Hap Baker will be closed again this weekend ( Feb. 20-22) due to ongoing repairs. The extreme cold weather has caused delays in digging and pouring concrete. We hope to be up and running for the next weekend. Please check our website for any updates. ccgovernment.carr.org/ccg/recpark/hapbaker/

When I used to shoot there it was always colder at Hap then "outside". I guess it's the concrete and sitting on the benches.

My father always jokes that Hap is the coldest place in MD. Thinks I have a screw loose for going there in the winter.

it looks like hap is going to be closed again this weekend. This project has snowballed ( pardon the pun) in to one delay after another. Sorry for the inconvenience. we just need to make sure its safe when all is said and done. Please check the hap baker website for any future updates.
