HQL Process update

Not a typo...i am in the 17 HUNDREDS

HQL-2015-0017xx

I can only "assume" that the last numbers started over in 2015?

Maybe someone who was approved near end of 2014 can verify, because like you, I'm sure there's been more than 1,700 people issued HQL's.

Mine went active 1/26/15 (haven't received it yet) the # is HQL2015-0014XX
Maybe 1400 since the first of the year?

Yeah, it's got to be. I was active 3 days after you, and I am 300 numbers higher, lol.

Yes, the HQL numbers reset to zero every January 1st. The first applicant this year got a card that started with "2015-000001".

IMPORTANT: the "2013-, 2014-, and 2015" at the start of the number sequence on your HQL card is part of your FULL HQL NUMBER and is put on the paperwork when buying or transferring.

It is interesting watching the progress on the status page.
I got a letter back Monday dated Friday the day I got the finger prints done and submitted the app. the letter says I cleared the CJIS. But the status page has not been updated.

F'ing over law abiding citizens is pretty lucrative, isn't it!

How is this any different than usual?

My card showed up yesterday in the mail......about 19-20 days total from start to finish.

Just saw this on my status update:
CJIS Incomplete
At the bottom it says:
CJIS - Criminal Justice Information System Check for criminal history
Incomplete - Application Section is pending additional information, you will be contacted

How will I expect them to contact me? Phone, Snail Mail?

I had already received a letter stating my criminal background check was good.

I had already received a letter stating my criminal background check was good.

I got a letter saying all was good...then a phone call asking if I had ever been convicted of a felony...which I have not.

They said I checked the box that said YES, and they wanted to verify...

I double checked everything, so no idea how that may (or may not have) went through like that.

I'd expect a phone call. At least that's what happened with me.

I had the same message for a while, never contacted and mine went active last week.

Incomplete just means still in process. I called because mine had said same (incomplete) 3 different things for 10 days. They told me my name possible came up (name) not me so a Trooper has to investigate to see it was not me. went active 1/30 still no card. Mo7%^ F&^K*** BS!!! not mad at MSP pissed that a law abiding citizen of the USA can't make a legal purchase because of that POS omalley and his assclown friends.

Get your Designated Collector letter. You can buy guns as often as you like as long as your cash and credit holds out.
