    I tried searching for this already, but came up dry...

    Are you allowed to purchase AK-47 or AK-74 receivers in Maryland, just as long as they are transferred as pistols? I intend to build them into pistols and than possibly SBR them in the future. I know building them into rifles is out of the question, but I'm not sure about just the receivers. If anyone knows, that would be great.

    Baltimore's Best Pawn has had them in the past. Call Gary, he's the primary gun person there. He's also an IP and a good guy. Do it.

    You are allowed to purchase them and Nodak Spud also carries flats, alternatively you could just buy a shovel from Home Depot.
