    A friend of mine had one of their uppers. It was nice shooting once he got the sights figured out.

    Something about their front sight being not "F" marked and he used a non-Windham carry handle/rear sight assembely.

    Yes, if you don't have the correct rear sight, you will need a slightly taller front sight post.

    Looks like AR Stoner and Del-ton both make a dissipator with rifle length gas. I'm unfamiliar with either brand though.

    Rifle length gas system on 16" barrel Dissipator was a failure from jump street.
    Not enough barrel after the front sight base gas block to reliably cycle the bolt.
    The carbine length gas system is the reliable choice.
    I have a Windham Dissipator upper and I love it. Runs 100% and the rifle length sight radius is nice for shooting with irons. I got their HB version.

    Carry handles look good on certain builds. Carry handle with a free float...not so much.
