Tonight has been different, that's for sure.. told the wife I couldn't come to bed cause I was listening to the MD senate debate.. that got no response.

Nice work everyone! Keep it up!

What she heard: "Sorry hon. Watching some porn."

Next thing you know you'll be up early to watch cspan. ;)

    It is over. We won.

Special session is for budget. Frosh may like to make training budget related, but at this point they got real fish to fry.

The septic tax and noise thing annoyed me. I think both failed. Or rather, were held up until the bitter end.

Thanks to Smigiel, Reilly, Pipkin and others up there for holding the lines.

    More later.

sounds like something dwyer would say :D

The ONLY reason 579 didn't get passed seems to be the swell of phone calls and emails. Perhaps Legg's ruling gave people in md a backbone for once. I'm still shocked at the number of people that have NO CLUE about woolard, Legg, or that md's "good and substantial" was ruled unconstitutional. It seems as a community, we have a great opportunity to spread the word and plant seeds of 2a freedom in everyone's minds while the lawmakers are off doing whatever they do in the off-season. The more people that we can get to think of the right to carry as a potential reality, the better for our turnout.

    Way past your bedtime...
    Spring break huh???

Just spent the last hour reading 50+ pages of this thread. It's been truly exciting, really. And I didn't have to sit on my behind for nine hours and live through it. Much more dramatic to read it in one long swoop.

I'm determined to send the Honorable Mr Pipkin a campaign donation.

I think supporting a Dem candidate to run against Frosh is an excellent idea. I'm in for a hundred bucks when the candidacy is announced.

If Esqapellate or Patrick choose to run as Democrats against Frosh, they get half a grand. Promise.

Thanks to those who put in seat time to record this as it happened.

    Congratulations! We Stopped this.

I can remember your frustration over not getting enough participation at the OHRs and other events. It looks like all we needed to get our collective asses motivated was a court win.

    Look at us now.

Thank you MSI leadership, members, and everyone else who rallied for this. You all did us proud today. (Err, yesterday, but you get the idea....)

I feel almost as happy as I did the day Judge Legg announced his decision in Woolard.

Well maybe more because of the 4 rounds of emails I sent made me part of this one.

    This great!!!

Thank you all. Especially MSI and Md shooters.
I think Judge Legg's decision was definately the rally cry.

I need to send thank you emails to those guys who requested SO delaying the bill until it is too late. Senators Reilly and Pipkin.

Great job. Congratulations guys. We won this round. Enjoy the victory, but don't relax. They will be back and try again. We must stay on our toes and stay vigilant.
