    Out of curiousity I checked MD's DNR site, the record for one in the Chesapeake is 67 lbs 8 oz. set in 1995

    I had Devin out on my boat a short time before he caught the Md. record rock... I worked with his Dad who passed away a few years ago. That fish was actually heavier, but by the time they got it to the official weigh-in... it had dehydrated a bit.

    A record is still a record Applehd. That being said, I can just imagine what I would do with the fish steaks that would make!
