Hi all. Just moved officially to this state. Still trying to get used to not having the liberties I had come to love. Just trying to make the best of things. I am missing some toys that were deemed too dangerous, but otherwise intact. Started the CCW & HQL process. Yay... fun. But in other news, I have a job that pays at least. Take care everyone.

Welcome! Just out of curiosity, the MD CCW is difficult to jump thru MD's "Good and Substantial" hoop. Are you certain you will have an easy go of it here?

Yeah, I hit 2 good reasons on the list that should get me through. But then again, I've heard horror stories

Welcome to Maryland. What part of the state did you land in? I lived in Phoenix, Ahwatukee, and Mesa over the years. Would like to move back there. What brought you to Maryland?

I was forced to move here permanently when I couldn't get any good work there. I truly love AZ, but with the current job market, I had to make enough to put kids thru college. I'm doing really well on the East Coast now, so the move had to be permanent. Some day, I hope to move back to a 2A friendly state. For now, I'll make do.

Welcome! You have to go where you can make a living. It is a sad story about "American mobility". I left NJ for Michigan. I left Michigan for MD. I left MD for Delaware. Guess what? I didn't move because I wanted to. I moved because of "Job". Just like the Okies who had to move to California due to the dust bowl...

    Michigander08,

It's a sad state of things, but we do what we have to. In times like these a "JOB" is what matters.
