I think you should take a second look at my previous post and it would clear up any "time" related questions/comments you have
he probably will. but one bad act perhaps should not ruin an entire career. A lot of depts let people retire even after committing a criminal act. not condoning it but it happens. if you have the ime in, you keep what you have earned in many cases.
They let that DC Fire Lt. retire who took no action to save that guy who died on RI Av across from 26 Engine.
I really believe that very few people actually read a thread before commenting on it.
If he were to get fired he would not get a pension however that point is moot in this case........that should add some hazy clarity to his "retirement" eligibility

The other guy was driving a Camry. That right there is enough to forgive the officer. Camry's make me angry all the time.

Why do you hope he has enough time on the job to retire? He should be treated like the rest of us would be and do some jail time....
