Did I read it right earlier it just takes a hunter's safety certification and a membership in one of the various approved clubs?
Participation in an Appleseed qualifies also.

Full of garbage, trying to twist words. But the paper you sign says "personal use". That technically makes those resellers in violation of a Federal MOA or contract. That should include a big fine or jail time.
They've all been rearsenaled at least once. There are no "original", as in "unaltered since the day it came from the manufacturer" rifles coming out of CMP. Haven't been for probably decades. Correct Grade, Special, Collector = simply means CMP swapped parts around to get something they could sell for more $..
Not sure where you get your inof but you are incorrect. CMP is not in the business of building Correct and Collector Grades. When rifles are inspected it is possible a small parts may be repalc ed to make a riofle Correct.
Collector grades are unmolested, untouched, and both have been for sale in the Stores lately in very limited quantity
At minimum prohibit someone from making another CMP purchase. That would be enough to satisfy me.
The Greek returns were the exception, there were many unused 1950's Garands in the returns, some still brand new in their foil wrap. The Correct and Collector grade Greek returns were true all original unmolested Garands.
beautiful rifle
They do that, they have a yearly limit. Once you buy 8 then you cant buy till next year. At least that is what the email i got last said
