Hello everyone,
I've been browsing this site for a few months, and it has been a great help with all the questions that I had prior to coming here. I'm relatively new to Maryland, but not new to firearms.
I can create new threads if need be, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask my first couple questions here:
First off, does anyone have any current recommendations on a good range to shoot shotguns in or near AA County? I looked at the MDS Primer sticky but some of those links are broken and the information in the thread hasn't been updated for a few years (pre-COVID).
Second, when people say "cash and carry," that just means making a normal firearm purchase like you would in a state that doesn't have restrictions like Maryland, correct? You pay for the firearm and fill out the 4473, the FFL does the NICS check, and you walk out of the store with the firearm and no additional registration requirements or anything like that, right?
So for an HBAR AR-15, you can purchase one like you would any other long gun that isn't restricted in Maryland? Alternatively, if you purchased an HBAR AR-15 while a resident of another state, you could bring that HBAR AR-15 with you to Maryland, correct?
Any info or advice is appreciated. Thanks!
