Talked to Raineman so we know BOTH ejections were triggered by Dumais.

And we have Deep Lurker’s video from the lobby about Raineman's ejection to add to a video complication.

We are consulting with EL1227 to see what can be done.

Man, that was a marathon session ... punctuated by a 1/2-mile slog through the slush to get back to the Stadium lot afterward (yes, uphill, both ways, in the snow, at 1:20am.)

It felt good using the MGA's own fiscal impact reports, data, and testimony against them. They really don't like that.

I started the day helping a "new guy" with the procedures of registration, written testimony submission, and mental-prep for oral testimony. Amusingly, we ended up missing the first two hours of testimony because we were conducting an in-depth interview with a reporter from USA Today. Rack piled-on after the first hour, then Stoveman, then two other Patriots. The reporter kept lookingfor a "2A vs. Government tyranny" angle, and we kept steering him back to the legislative process and fundamental freedoms protected by the Constitution. I will keep an eye out to see if/when something is published. Ultimately, some of the conversations with Delegates out in the rotonda were more valuable than the formal session testimony (no timers, and an ability to have a free-form discussion.)

I rolled into Migraine Manor at 3:10 in the AM. Was late to work this morning. Will have a tasty beverage this evening when I get home, and raise a glass to all my fellow Patriots who absolutely kicked-ass last-night-into-this-morning.

Apologies to the Patriots I didn't include below.

It'd be easier to circle, Jen, Liz, and the church-ladies (two of whom are technically male) as the opposition - everyone else (including the dozen or so standing in the wings) were "us."

I thought I was going to fall out of my chair when one of the church lady men said that Jesus didn't say to go sell your cloak and buy a sword.

Curt Anderson is one of the biggest dickheads I have ever heard in my life.

His knowledge of firearms laws and their history was pretty nil.

After watching him have his testimony and arguments shredded and mocked by our group, to the point where he felt he had to just withdraw the bill - to a standing ovation - I was pleasantly surprised when, meeting him in the hall and offering some sympathy for what I imagined must have been a fairly tough encounter, he was upbeat and pleasant and demonstrated no resentment for his treatment at our hands.

I suspect that his bill was a put-up job by the mayor. He didn't seem dismayed at all by the result.

It's possible (though perhaps not probable) that some, at least, of the Dems are not concealing cloven hooves in their Italian shoes.

"You're not at all what I expected" I said to the Devil, who was handsome, courtly and clothed in finely-tailored garb.

"That's because you have only been listening to my detractors" he replied.

It wasn't his bill. I believe as the head of the Baltimore City delegation he drew the short straw to present it but it was obvious that this was crafted by someone else.

Same thing with Atterbeary. She had zero knowledge of the Kill the HPRB bill.

Anderson , as head of B'more Delegation , is obligated to put forth the Delegation Bills .

Likewise it was telling when the BPD Chief of Detectives asked directly if the BPD supported (whatever) replied " The Department supports the Adimistration's position .

I had written testimony for way more of the Bills than I spoke . If had need been , I could have spoken on twice as many Bills as I did . But our side was so strong and prepared , often the salient points were already covered , and I mainly sought to add angles not yet covered , or additional relevant details .

I wounder if some one will make it a challenge to get removed for utter a** kissory in testimony. If it pleases the crown and the like.

I used that to end my testimony at one point, hoping to at least meet the bar set by Raineman and Mopar, but alas, all I got was a snivelling wisper from Dumais to The Chairman.
