Youtube Anti-Gun Ads

I keep getting Anti-Gun ads on a lot of pro gun channels I'm watching. This happened about 2 weeks ago and keeps happening. Is anyone getting this too?

Yah, does it block youtube ad videos?

I've just been informing them that there are anti gun ads being played on all their videos via PM lol

Huh I actually get pro gun ads (NRA, urban carry holster, etc.) on my youtube videos. Then again all I watch is forgotten weapons, The Gun Collective, Military Arms Channel, C&Rsenal, and random comedy channels.

Look at it this way. If these morons want to spend their funding on targeted ads why not let them waste it on people who don't think inanimate objects get up by themselves and start killing?

Should YouTube turn down money from anti ad pushers? If so, should they turn down money from pro gun pushers?

Just like on TV. Companies BUY ad placement.

I watch Spanish videos I get ads for learning Spanish

I watch car videos I get ads for cars

I watch gun videos... you guessed it. Targeting marketing.

If you're using Firefox (if not, why not!), as others've suggested, get AdBlock Plus, which blocks ads on most websites.

Because of the complexity of their algorithms, I can't answer that.
What I can tell you is that all Adblock Plus does is extract the advert's code from the page as it downloads to your browser (if you check the page's source code once with and again without the Adblock utility enabled, you'll see the ad code is missing in the former case and included in the latter). Generally, all the server (i.e., youtube) knows is that your IP requested a page (including all of its contents) and the server responded by sending the page (including all of its contents).

It seems I see more pro gun ads but I usually skip those anyway since I'm already converted.

Its soooooo bad. I work at Mercedes Specialists and because the business is heavily tied into the Googlifier all day I get ads for Mercedes. At home I get gun stuff and always click the like button for ad feedback. I report the anti gun stuff for harassment and unsuitable content.
