    Unless you work for BCoPD you might be waiting for a LONG time before you see the sigs for sale. I heard they are for sale very cheap if you are with BCoPD

    They're not selling the old Sigs. They want to make sure they don't "fall into the wrong hands", so they're taking an estimated $700k loss(at the expense of the county tax payers) by not selling them.

    Heard they were sold to the officers for 150 dollars for the gun, 3 magazines, holster(s), and magazine pouches. Plus a 10 dollar MSP fee for the transfer.

    They wanted the 5 inch slide for better ballistics, better handling, and better weight balance.

    I personally think a 5 inch slide is HUGE for patrol work. The gun looks like a freaking cannon when they are in the holster...and out for that matter.

    One of my best friends is on the BCPD, he told me $250 for the sig 2340's

    I played around with the blue plastic training version and I really like it. It fits in my hand perfectly.

    I will definitely be looking into getting a real one
