Living In A Bizarro World
Nice 1911s. I especially like the DW.
This spends a lot of time IWB as my EDC.
It is a seriously modded out DW A-2.
I like the 'tuxedo' look with the stainless bushing, slide release, etc. What else did you do to it?
Welcome aboard! Always good to have another 1911-enthusiast around!
All the external stainless bits are fit up to that gun. EGW ignition controls and some of the stainless. The magwell is Smith and Alexander piece. There is some show off machine work on the slide and the Ceracoat came out well.
It is a serious shooter on top of that.
I'll bet it is. A2's are really nice but, you've made it even nicer. Well done!
Thanks. It is a passion with me. Just can not leave them alone. Always been that way. Cars/bikes/boats and guns. "We" can make them better.,..

Howd ya find us out thar in Indy?
I am on a sister site to this one. Indiana Gun owners. Saw it mentioned by a member and came to have a look. Pretty nice layout. I am impressed. But hey, that's just me...
Didn't realize we have a MDS Indy campus.
Indiana wants me. Lord, I can't go back there. If it weren't for the Winter months, I'd move to the area between Lafayette and Indianapolis right now. Indiana is great.

We live directly north of the 4th turn gates of the Motor Speedway. Lived around here most of my life.
Very nice collection Mr Blue
You're right there in the thick of history!
I've had an ongoing business relationship with a large automotive dealer group in Lafayette since 2018. Between working with them and the disproportionate % of drop-dead gorgeous (Purdue) coeds, I could easily call it home if it weren't for those -20, -30 days in January and February.
