I fired mine the other day. It was feeding hollow points OK, had one FTF with 30 rds. I'll use round nose today. Got it new, and the slide definitely needs a break in, not the precision finishing of a typical go to pistol. There is actually some metal flash where some parts join, which could easily be finished out. The feed ramp could use a polish, but with all that, one FTF with a hollow point ain't bad. The bad thing is, the slide does not remain open. Since it is just a knock around gun, I put a yellow dry wall anchor or snap cap in the magazine first. I don't think dry firing this would be a good idea. Be careful buying dummy 22lr, as some are not meant to be snap caps.
